Ask Blackie is a web show like no other you have ever seen! Hosted by Jamal, a streetwise brother from the hood and his best friend Krakaz, this team is dedicated to answering questions from their viewers, no matter how crazy, dumb or challenging they may be.

New Episodes are published every other week on Sundays with a Bonus episode thrown out every now and then. Each episode is packed with Jamal’s Q & A, Fan Fotoze and Krakaz’ Weekly Slur as well as a few extra little treats.

Meet Tha Cast

Jamal

This hip brother is the host of said program. He’s never afraid to tell you the truth, even if it hurts your feelings, because this brother keeps it real. Come rain or shine he is always working on the show, when he’s not performing community service as a condition of his parole.

Jamal loves shootin’ hoops and workin’ the honeys. He loves all sorts of trivia and has been known to hang around Mookie’s Liquor in his spare time. He plans to go to college one day, but he needs to knock off a few more odd jobs first.

Krakaz

This cracker is certified nuts by the doctor man himself. Despite the fact he can never keep a racist comment to himself, Jamal still loves him like a brother. These two have been friends since high school. Ebony and Ivory yo!

Krakaz takes care of all the programming and other technical stuff on the show. He’s very talented considering he has to program by clenching a pencil in his mouth since he has no arms or legs.

Tha Theme Song

Jamal W. – Jamal
Puppeteer / Co-Writer / Executive Prodcuer

Jamal graduated from UCSD with a BS in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is the heart and soul behind the program, which was based on his original concepts.

Jamal’s goal for the show has always been to shed light on racial and cultural differences from a comedic approach. While the show deffinately pushes the limits of racial humor, it has gained a strong international audience world wide.

Emi M. – Krakaz
Puppeteer / Co-Writer / Webmaster

Emi graduated from Seattle University with a MS in Computer Science. She handles all of the web programming for the show including managing the podcast feed syndication. Emi also designed some of the puppets and props used on the show.

When Emi isn’t working on the show she serves as a network administrator for a large healthcare company in San Diego, CA.
